Based in my small studio (some might call it a grand shed) in Lancashire, I produce a range of unique, hand crafted gifts, decorative items and flower preservation in resin. Please see existing stock items, or if you want something special, just ask!
Hi! My name is Sarah and I live in rural Lancashire, where I pass the time since retiring making ‘happy things’ - handcrafted resin gifts - in my shed to escape my husband and two small dogs for a while. I fell in love with resin work, which is a challenging medium, because of its versatility, its presence and non-presence, and because of the way it can suspend other matter – dyes, flowers, air bubbles, anything –perfectly and permanently. Wedding flower preservation is just one of my favourites. It’s ultimately so rewarding when the result is a beautiful, entirely unique, hand-crafted object to be treasured. In short: my name is Sarah, and I like making things that make people smile😊
Due to differences in monitor settings, I can't guarantee the colors you see will be exact in person, but I endeavour to ensure images give the best representation of colour possible.
If the item is shown as 'in stock' it means it is ready to ship, and will dispatch in 1-2 business days (if you need it urgently, please let me know, and I will do my best to accommodate).
If the item is a custom order, the production time will depend on a number of factors - do flowers need to be dried, will the piece require multiple pours, the size of the piece, the total curing time for the resin, so please ask. If the piece is required for a certain date, let me know and I will do my very best to accommodate your requirements.
No - the resin is NOT approved to use as food/drink vessels. It is fine to use as a storage container for things such as dog treats or wrapped sweets, but not to be eaten or drunk from.
All materials used are of the highest quality, but all resin will eventually yellow over time. Follow our care instructions - avoid placing in direct, strong sunlight, clean only with a soft cloth, dampened with water if necessary and your piece will continue to look beautiful for many years. Do not use any cleaning products, solvents or abrasive materials as these may mark or damage the surface of the resin piece. All pieces are guaranteed for 12 months from the date of purchase, provided they have been properly cared for.
As all my pieces are completely hand crafted, minor flaws and small imperfections such as small bubbles in the resin may occur - but this usually adds to the unique nature and handmade charm.
Do not allow babies/small children to chew resin items - they are not toys and resin is obviously not safe to be consumed. They are, however, perfect to use for a child's bedroom/desk space as jewellery boxes, pen pots, containers for small items.
